🌱 Understanding the Hair Growth Cycle 🌱

Did you know that your hair grows in cycles? This is one of the reasons why electrolysis requires multiple treatments to achieve permanent hair removal.

✨ The 3 Stages of Hair Growth:

🌿 Anagen (Growth Phase)
This is the active growing stage, when the hair is attached to the blood supply and the follicle is producing new hair. Electrolysis is most effective during this phase because the hair follicle can be treated at its source.

🍂 Catagen (Transition Phase)
The hair stops growing and begins to detach from the blood supply. This phase is short, lasting only a few weeks.

🌾 Telogen (Resting Phase)
The hair rests in the follicle before naturally shedding. Once it falls out, a new hair begins to grow, starting the cycle all over again.

💡 Why are multiple electrolysis treatments needed?

Not all hairs are in the same growth stage at the same time. During each appointment, only the hairs in the Anagen (growth) phase can be permanently treated. As dormant hairs enter the growth phase, follow-up treatments target those new active hairs.
